The Nature of the Beast | Recent works tempered by the artist’s travels to far-flung places like Antarctica and the Falkland Islands are accompanied by texts from New York magazine’s design editor, Wendy Goodman, curator and art historian Charles Stuckey, and Elizabeth L. Bennett of the Wildlife Conservation Society. The book also features a tour of the artist’s estate and studio in upstate New York, where pigs, rabbits, chickens, and goats live in bucolic and artistic surroundings.
